Welcome to the 2007 and 2008 JVP Health and Human Rights Delegation Blog and Trees of Reconciliation Delegation Blog

This blog is devoted to day by day reports on the 2007 Jewish Voice for Peace, Health and Human Rights Project's delegation to Palestine and Israel from October 20 to November 3 and the February 2008 JVP Trees of Reconciliation trip to the West Bank, where JVP organizers will be planting olive tree saplings as well as meeting with Palestinian and Israeli activisits involved in helping to protect Palestinian farmers' agricultural and land rights. This will be our fifth delegation. For the past four years, we have sent delegations to work with our partner organizations, the Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS) and Physicians for Human Rights-Israel (PHR-Israel), as well as other Palestinian civil society organizations and Israeli peace and human rights groups. We have also brought volunteers to work assisting Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian Territories to harvest their olives. Accounts of our previous delegations may be reviewed at www.jvpboston.org.
